Comunidades (SP)

Promover ações que agregam valor para o desenvolvimento e crescimento social da comunidade da Vila Albertina, localizada na zona norte de São Paulo. Este é o objetivo do Programa Comunidades que, desde 2002, trabalha o fortalecimento das redes de cooperação da região, abre espaço para discussões sobre sexualidade, direitos sexuais e reprodutivos e igualdade de gênero para adolescentes, jovens e famílias. Também investe no empoderamento de mulheres da comunidade para que sejam agentes de transformação de suas realidades e do seu entorno.

A iniciativa tem como objetivo a formação de crianças e adolescentes, entre 8 e 18 anos, homens e mulheres adultas, professores das escolas públicas parceiras e os próprios profissionais da Fundação Gol de Letra. No ano, foram atendidas diretamente 824 pessoas.

Em 2017, o Programa Comunidades manteve junto ao público os projetos ‘Formação de Agentes Sociais’; ‘Arredores’ — que articula ações com parceiros e atores locais e oferece serviços e informações para toda a comunidade — e ‘Sexualidade em Ação’. Este último, realizado em parceria com E.M.E.F João Ramos Pernambuco Abolicionista, foi finalista regional no Prêmio Itaú Unicef, por estimular adolescentes e jovens a debaterem de maneira criativa e lúdica questões relacionadas à saúde e direitos sexual e reprodutivo, equidade de gênero e diversidade.

O destaque do ano foi a realização do “Seminário: Gênero na Escola e no Esporte”, que reuniu mais de 200 pessoas no Centro Paula Souza, no centro da capital paulista, com o objetivo de discutir e compartilhar experiências, boas práticas e desafios na busca pela igualdade de gênero.

Nas mesas de debate, representantes de organizações e coletivos que atuam com o tema, como ONU Mulheres, Ação Educativa, Geledés – Instituto da Mulher Negra, entre outros.

O evento, gratuito, teve a participação de profissionais de educação e esportes, estudantes, gestores e interessados em discutir sobre a importância de se trabalhar a temática nos espaços educacionais e esportivos.

Communities SP

The Communities Program promotes actions that add value to the development and social growth of Vila Albertina community, located in the north of Sao Paulo. This program started in 2002 and since then it has been strengthening the region's cooperation networks; it opens space for discussions on sexuality, sexual and reproductive rights and gender equality for adolescents, young people and families. It also invests in the empowerment of women in the community to be agents of transformation of their realities and their environment.

This initiative has the objective of training children and adolescents, between 8 and 18 years old, adult men and women, teachers of partner public schools and professionals of the Gol de Letra Foundation. During the year of 2017, 824 people were directly assisted.

In 2017, the Communities Program offered to the public the Projects 'Training of Social Agents; Surroundings' - that coordinates actions with local partners and players and delivers services and information for the whole community - and 'Sexuality in Action'. The latter, conducted in partnership with E.M.E.F Joao Ramos Pernambuco Abolitionist, was a regional finalist at the Itau-Unicef Award, for encouraging adolescents and young people to creatively and playfully discuss issues related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality and diversity.

The highlight of the year was the "Seminar: Gender in School and Sport", which brought together more than 200 people at the Paula Souza Center, in Sao Paulo city center, to discuss and share experiences, good practices and challenges in the pursuit of gender equality.

At the discussion tables there were representatives of organizations that work with the theme, such as UN Women, Educational Action, Geledés - Institute of the Black Woman, among others.

The free event was attended by professionals from education and sports, students, managers and people interested in discussing the importance of developing the gender equality theme in educational and sports scopes.

Gol pela Igualdade: Esporte e Gênero

Goal for Equality: Sport and Gender

Para fortalecer e disseminar a importância da igualdade de gênero no esporte, a Fundação Gol de Letra deu início em agosto de 2017 a mais esse Projeto. O objetivo é mobilizar a sociedade para estimular a autonomia e o protagonismo de meninas neste universo, além de fomentar o diálogo sobre o tema e buscar ampliar a participação de mulheres no esporte.

Inicialmente, as oficinas temáticas aconteceram a cada 15 dias com as turmas de Basquete e Futsal, e devem se estender às demais modalidades esportivas, sempre se utilizando de recursos lúdicos como dinâmicas, vivências e jogos recreativos para promover a reflexão e o debate entre educandas e educandos.

In order to strengthen and disseminate the importance of gender equality in sport, the Gol de Letra Foundation started this project in August 2017. The objective is to mobilize society to stimulate the autonomy and protagonism of girls in this area, besides encouraging the dialogue on the theme and to increase the participation of women in sport.

Initially the thematic workshops took place every 15 days with Basketball and Futsal classes, and should extend to other sports, always using playful resources such as group dynamics, experiences and recreational games to promote reflection and debate between female and male learners.

The Project Sexuality in Action, in partnership with the school, brings us only benefits, to the community and to our students. We note the students' empowerment in relation to the themes that are developed, which are not only about the issue of Sexuality, but also about Gender and Diversity. The Project also works with teachers and it is very important to work together and join forces, which boosts results. We see the results in the students' behavior, in the relation with the other and in the respect to diversity

My life has changed dramatically both internally and externally. I have to thank for all that I learned, lived and acquired in these rich formations. Thank you to all Gol de Letra professionals I met and lived with. The training on rights and duties with lawyers; the clarifications on the change of Social Security; the experience of community therapy; the external trainings I had at SESC, The Person Museum, Theatre, MASP, Japan House, Trianon Park, Ceu Anhanguera, the trainings with Regina teacher and many others. Now I'm a very different person from what I was before, I talk a lot, I give my opinion, I'm much clearer in what I want for my life, I learned to say 'NO'.
