Caju, Rio de Janeiro
Selo Educação Integral

The Youth and Opportunity Program is a socio-educational action focused on the care of vulnerable youth and adults that require social assistance and work training, it offers professional qualification and increased schooling through the offer of youth and adult education strategies. The program offers vocational training courses for young people and adults from 16 to 59 years, in addition to basic education (Primary School, High School and preparatory to Enem) for those who could not complete their studies.

In 2018 the Program organized an important co-workspace with the Family and Community site of Gol de Letra, that increased the availability of spaces for research, exchange of books and academic work production.

Another innovation was the Women’s Meetings, that took place throughout the year with the participation of many women of the region, contributing to the mobilization of young and adult women, to the exchange of knowledge among peers, and to a larger number of women attending the courses during the whole year.
